Meet our new Graduate Engineers!

Marley McClenaghan (middle), a graduate from Swinburne University holds a bachelor of engineering majoring in robotics & mechatronics (with honours). Through his degree, Marley enjoyed subjects such as Mechatronic Systems Designs, which combined use of CAD modelling with circuitry and programming, and the Machine Design Open Day Pro. Marley gives special mention to the final year project with Defentex, run by faculty head Zhenwei Cho, as it was the most involved opportunity he had to implement his theoretical studies. Marley will be shadowing Luke Rathgeber, one of SCG’s project engineers.

Luke Burrows (right), a graduate with a double bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and business management from RMIT University. A highlight for Luke during his studies was taking part in an honours project which provided end-to-end engineering solution from ideation to delivering the final product. Working with Ronson Gears, he reached the feasibility of 3D printing systems in the gear manufacturing industry. Luke has started with assisting SCG’s mechanical engineer Linden Rumball with our EDP project.

We wish these two all the best and look forward to watching their professional growth with Strategic Connections Group.
